All you have to do is win the Brian Wilson Karaoke Contest! This karaoke competition will take place at the new Irish/Mexican restaurant Garcia Brogan’s Cantina, Pub & Restaurant in downtown Lowell on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Participants will sing Beach Boys classics such as “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “Surfer Girl,” “I Get Around” and “California Girls” just to name a few.
The winner of the Brian Wilson Karaoke Contest will receive four (4) third row floor tickets to the Brian Wilson concert at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 8pm. The winner will also get to meet Brian Wilson before the show and receive a $50 gift card to Garcia Brogan’s. The runner-up will receive a pair of third row tickets to the show. All of the participants that don’t win will be entered into a drawing where they can also win a pair of third row tickets.
If you’d like to participate, send an email to hshea@lowellauditorium.com with the following information: Name, Address, Phone Number, Email and Age. Only 30 spaces are available. You will be notified by a Lowell Memorial Auditorium staff member if you are one of the first 30 people to register.
The general public is encouraged to attend the Brian Wilson Karaoke Contest and cheer on their favorite contestants. Admission is free of charge to attend the karaoke contest.
As an added bonus, the Lowell Five will be offering 10% (normally 5%) back to anyone that uses their Lowell Five debit card at Garcia Brogan’s on Saturday, November 7, 2009 during the karaoke competition. The Brian Wilson concert at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium is part of the 2009-2010 Lowell Five Performing Arts Series.
